There’s no question why people would want to spend their golden years in Montana. Some of us were lucky enough to be born here and never plan on leaving. Others came here for school or a job and found a home as well. There’s a number of folks from other places who spent their younger years building a nest egg so that they could retire in Big Sky Country. No matter when they arrived, Montana seniors make up a large percentage of our state’s population, and that number is projected to grow.

These older Montanans are by no means ready to sit on the couch. They’re active, involved, and starting second careers. Many are well-educated, well-traveled and ready for new adventures.
Many of these seniors play a key role in helping their aging parents. They are often involved in such things as choosing a retirement home, estate planning and navigating healthcare decisions.

Montana 55 was specifically created for this new generation of Montanans in their prime. We feature content that includes recreation, getaways, finances, real estate, personal growth, volunteering, healthcare and more. Our annual housing guide, published every January, will help active seniors and their parents plan for the future.

As well as being online, Montana 55 is a quarterly full color, glossy magazine. Copies are free, and can be picked up at racks around the state. Our regular distribution is 15,000, but that quantity is upped to 25,000 for the Annual Housing Guide. Please contact us if you would like to subscribe or if your business would like copies for distribution.

Our targeted magazine is perfect for advertisers hoping to reach the senior market. We would be happy to send out a rate card to you.

If you have a story idea or a comment about Montana 55, we would love to hear from you.
